Create Partitions in Windows 10
A window will appear like the one shown below:
In this window you can see the details such the size of your harddisk. As you can see there is only one partition C. All your hard disk
space is allocated to this partition. Other two partitions contain windows content so leave them as they are
- Step1: Search for "create and format hard partitions"
- Step2: Write click on the partition C You will see a drop down menu select "shrink volume". It will take few minutes to query for available space.
- Step3: Another menu will appear like the one shown here: Put the value you want to shrink in the text box with label "Enter the amount of space to shrink in MBs". This will shrink the space of partition C. The remaining space would be unallocated. and it will be used to create other partitions. as in my case i am shrinking C to 7120000MBs. once done click OK.
- Step4: Click on "Unallocated" Tab. Drop down menu will appear select "new simple volume".
- Step5: "New Simple Volume Wizard" will appear then click next and follow step 3. Once every thing done click finish. and you will get your required partitions.
